Costs are per student per semester

The $200 housing deposit you pay with your application is applied to your overall bill once the semester has started. It is part of the total cost and not an ongoing security deposit.

Board Plan Costs

Resident students must choose one of the Resident Meal Plans. The meal plan may be used for the number of meals identified per week (Saturday – Friday). The plan is for the resident only and provides a single meal during the scheduled meal. For instance, you would not be able to eat an early lunch and return to eat a second lunch later.

Resident Meal Plans

  • 10 meals per week, $1,757, any 10 meals/week
  • 15 meals per week, $1,903, any 15 meals/week (80 more meals per semester for $142)
  • 19 meals per week, $2,045, all 19 meals/week BEST BUY PER MEAL!!

Commuter Meal Plans
Meal plans are available to commuter students, faculty and staff. It is possible to purchase multiple meals during a scheduled meal time using these cards.

  • Plan 1 (25 Meals Per Semester): $217
  • Plan 2 (50 Meals Per Semester): $419
  • Plan 3 (80 Meals Per Semester): $648

Summer: Meal Rate is $25.00/day

Paper Bill/Student Accounts

Paper bills are no longer available. To view your student account balance and/or to make a payment,” log in to your WVU Portal”, on the right, you will see a Student Account panel. Select View Details, Student Services & Housing, Student Accounts, Electronic Bill By Term/Make Payment.
